                                    He went 12 rounds in the last year and a half against 2 current titlists and finished strong against Salido, even better than he started, but he felt it necessary to prove to the "critics" that he can take into the late rounds?

                                    Seriously? Gamboa's a good fighter, so there's no need to make **** up about how good he is. Gamboa's too impatient to be carrying an opponent for 8 rounds. Gamboa turned it up in the 8th because he wasn't getting counter punches thrown at him and most of his punches started to get through DPL's guard. De Leon didn't want to continue because he saw the writing on the wall that he was going to take a beating.

                                    It takes time to figure out awkward southpaws, especially ones that have 1 punch KO power.
