    Agreed, it wasn't throughout the whole fight. Just from the 2nd to the last round.

                Gamboa will probably never become a fan favorite -- he mainly depends on his 2 best attributes, speed and quickness -- he's not interested in looking spectacular and electrifying the crowd -- just wants to win rounds and fights -- very intelligent and purposeful in the ring -- would be handful for any of the top guys because of his style -- will probably always be a guy that most fans love to hate

                  I couldn't disagree more with the bold. Gamboa has a pretty big following amongst serious fight fans and "experts". Yuri is easy to enjoy. The casual fan understands and appreciates aggression and explosiveness. Last night's fight with Ponce De Leon was not representative of Gamboa's style. But it showed that he can win however he chooses.

                    uh, if he couldn't 'crush' PDL, who is about 1/10th as good as Manny, how will Gamboa be able to 'crush' Manny?
