he does have more skills, lopez is tougher though, and would handle himself better in a war, which he would bring to gamboa.
and he will never fight pac and is damn lucky for that, because manny would **** kick him, like what is he thinking, manny wont fight below 140 and he is at 130...
if donaire and gamboa got in the ring together, my money would be on nonito.

good fight. gamboa was basically winning every round, he would've gotten a clear decision or late stoppage if it would have continued. ponce was there to fight though, sucks the headbutt happened.

Even thou Gamboa didn't get the KO most thought he was going to score, there's NO doubt he was beating Ponce De Leon comfortably..Ponce De Leon showed that he learned from the Juanma 1st round KO & in this fight(& past few fights)has shown a WAY better defense & timing than what he had at the time when he fought Juanma(that who knows how the fight would have turned out if Juanma hadn't caught him with that right hook in the 1st)..Just because Gamboa couldn't KO Ponce De Leon, doesn't mean Juanma has some sort of advantage over Gamboa, cause by the way Juanma lost to Salido(who Gamboa already had beaten) just shows that Gamboa will EASILY beat Juanma & probably will even KO him just like Salido did..Now the question is IF Gamboa has the skills to hang with Pacquiao(who he's been calling out) or is at the superstar level that Donaire, Martinez, Mayweather & Pacquiao are & by the way he looked tonight the answer is a definite NO!!! I would like to see Gamboa against Mickey Garcia next, who is more at his level..
