I'm sure you remember the contract proposal from about 2 yrs ago just a couple of weeks before Haye claimed a back injury which many thought had to do with possibly not getting paid from Sky Sports (UK network teetering with bankruptcy) etc etc. Anyway, the contract basically had the two brothers as an all-inclusive "one party" where it was mandated that David would be forced to fight Vitali if he beat Wlad yada yada. This was an unprecedented type of boxing contract in that it artificially made the two brothers, ostensibly, as one single party.

So this is one answer to your question. Another would require a lot less legal interpretation and brain capacity as follows: They're both 6'6" plus and fight in a very similar fashion, they look alike, they were both conceived by the same baby gravy, they have agreed to never fight each other, they sound alike, they are both robotic yet efficient, and the list goes on.
