hurt from making Tito look like a nobody for 9 rounds before tiring out and losing the last 3, maybe four. I know the boriquas love Tito like the mexicans loved Julio Cesar Chavez, but cmon. Everyone knows who really won that fight. Oscar is being a little hypocritical about the money issue though. wow. You must really hate Oscar.

Tito-De La Hoya was much closer then people make it out be, there is no way Oscar won 9 rounds of that fight. If I recall, even HBO had it a draw and Oscar was their knight in shining armor. Mosley-De La Hoya 2 was a fight where a case can be made that Oscar won 9 rounds and that fight was much bigger robbery then Oscar-Tito will ever be.

Winky has not beaten anyone other then a juiced up welterweight in Mosley. I like Wright but he has no where else to go, Trinidad can fight plenty of other guys, he doesnt need Winky. The second Winky-Mosley did lower ratings then the first, what does that tell you about Winky's market value?

Winky's belt doesnt mean **** at 160 pounds and Winky will never make the kind of money he is being offered with anyone else. Wright will not move down to 147 and every big name at 154 has bloted either up or down in weight. Maybe Winky should fight Daniel Santos and see how much he makes.

Did any of you seriously have Tito winning after 8rounds? I was rooting for Tito but I thought Ali-Holmes was more competitive

exactly, i love tito too, and i was shocked and in disbelief the way Oscar made him look like he was a nobody.

I was rooting for Tito too. When I saw the fight live I had Hoya up by 8 - 9rds. as well, but being able to see it w/o my buddies and the speakers blaring the 2nd time, I didn't think that Hoya dominated in the fashion I thought he did originally. I'm sure it's still fresh in alot of your guys's memories about the comparison being made between Hopkins - De La Hoya w/ Hagler - Leonard(we all know that was b.s. from beginning), however I thought Trinidad against De La Hoya played out more like Sugar Ray and the Marvelous one. What I also saw was how good Trinidad's defense was I mean having seen it a 2nd and 3rd time a whole lot of Oscar's punches were being picked off nice and clean, but Trinidad just couldn't get off. Oscar just flatout outsped him.

come on people, you gotta be blind to think oscar won 9 rounds of that fight. The reason why trinidad won that fight is the same reason why johnson beat tarver. He kept comming after oscar and oscar kept running period. it doesnt look good to the judges fighting backwards. If the outcome should've been anything else, it should've been a draw.

I was rooting for tito, and after the 8th rd i had the fight 6-2 for DLH. if he would have fought at least one more round he would have won it w/o a doubt but he ran the last 4. It was a punk move and thats why he lost.
