Gamboa was treating Ponce de Leon like a Mexican piñata. He had no business there.

The biggest flaw I see in Gamboa's game though is he just doesn't use his jab enough. If he set up his shots he would have killed Ponce de Leon. A lot of physical talent but I just don't feel like he has the brains to last long. All that showboating and he didn't KO the man.

yup, i agree. add to that that he don't fight as agressively as he could each round!
