For a fighter to be overrated, there has to be a measuring stick, so who do you rate, if you dont rate Hagler, Monzon, feel Hopkins is overrated.......

So, SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING BOXING, you are your top 3 middlewight....not of All time.....nut the ones you have seen, since you began watching boxing...
See the thing is I've seen much much more fights from HW greats than I have the MWs. Still missing like 1-3 greats. Even if I were to think those 3 are greater, it would still put them in the top 10. Again, that's just my opinion.

Most of Hopkins' biggest wins have been against smaller boxers. Still doesn't take away the 20 defenses that he did.

My top 3 MWs? Hmmmm that's a toughie. Can't answer that one off the bat right now since I'm getting ready. Sorry.

Are you goin gto continue and continue with questions in hoping I expose myself in some way for you to talk **** about?

TBH...you did a great job of exposing yourself....you couldnt even come up with names to rival the middleweights I named in my previous posts.....

To be overrated, you need to have someone that is rated, to which you compare them to and say, "yea, he is overrated"....but you couldnt even muster up any names.......

Overrated in a sense that they are not as great as people make them out to be. That's what I'm saying.

For example, it's like that one good article that you find about an old fight that was so historic (forgot the who) and when I checked it out it was one of the most boring fights I've ever seen (like Calzaghe vs Hopkins type).

Some things just aren't what they are meant to be and are a product of media/fanatics. I know when you like a fighter, the intensity of their wins goes up much much more but it doesn't with me.

        You won't win!

          Oh yea one last thing................

I've noticed that black boxers seem to have much less lower standards to black boxing fans.

Seems to me someone who isn't black needs to beat so and so and so and so but a black boxer does one or two good things, he's the cream of the crop.

Berto and Lacy(back then) are good examples.

Since when did historic=good.....not many are tbh....just like Floyd/Oscar.....why would that effect someones ranking, unless they had a massive size/reach/height advantage and still fought sh.t scared..........

Im massively unimpressed that someone who sees themselves as a hardcore boxing fan/watches old fights....cant even give me a name to rival Monzon/Hagler/Hopkins if they are all overrated..........not even one....you are the only fan out there that sees ALL 3 of em as overrated.....

You still couldnt even give me the great wins that the Klits have over opponents that dont have a size/height disadvantage......

When Holmes was dominating, people said the division was just weak.

When Lewis was dominating, people said the division was just weak.

Even today, you can find people that will say Tyson only looked impressive against bums when he ran Heavyweight boxing and was 'exposed' by Buster Douglas.

As mentioned in HBO's broadcast today, even an ATG like Rocky Marciano's unbeaten record didn't come against extremely impressive opposition.

              And on it goes...

Try telling that to Mr. Fantastic....he seems to think only white boxers get no credit, while the black boxers get all the praise........

Agree with author of this thread that the Klit brothers are boring..but like Mayweather, because they are so dominant, they make it seem boring. David Haye ran his mouth and brought some color but he was a boy in the ring with a man, and the same goes with all the guy mayweather fights.....give credit where it is due. Due to the Klits size, they have to rate top 10 HW in history.

                    But yes,.,they are boring..
