for all the talk of floyd fighting old opponents...why does pac get a pass. i highly doubt pacs team had any interest in facing the berto/ortiz winner. why did he choose to never defend his jr ww title? if we excuse the politics of boxing when criticizing mayweather...saying he should have fought this guy instead of that guy...or *** money or who promotes who, he's cherrypicking...its time we did the same to pac. the double standard is ridiculous...plus i hate media darlings.

is pac older than 38? pac is only 32 and in his prime...we should want to see him face young hungry fighters. this portion of his career leaves the same bitter taste as the last part of mayweathers career. we are getting robbed of potentially great fights for pretty good fights. if these 2 don't want to fight each other the least they could do is make the best fights out there...mayweather vs ortiz is a step in the right direction and it surprised the hell out of me but a 38 yr old lightweight just doesn't cut it. especially when he won't fight below 145.

He's given us alot of great fights. Guess at this stage in an elite fighters' career, some choose to cash in and leave on top. B hop is still fighting great young fighters, but he's not making Pac/Floyd money, is he...

well, cotto and clottey were the last 2 pac fights i was interested in. I'll prob. go to a mexican bar to see the marquez fight, just in case a miracle happens... who better to celebrate an upset like that with?

Cotto was 29 or 30 (Younger than Pacquiao) when Pac faced him. That was a terrific win.
Just think he already faced and completely disposed of Cotto, Clottey, Shane & Margarito without a hitch.
I am not a fan per say of Pacquiao's but I certainly recognize what he has done is special due to the nature of it and certainly the fashion.
