That wasn't it. Floyd Sr. had an interview on BoxingScene where he told Chad that he couldn't bring his girlfriend to every training session to hang out with him. He said the Dawson wouldn't full concentrate on his training and after Floyd Sr. told him that she couldn't come to the gym, Dawson left him.

Girlfriend or wife? Because now that you say it, Dawson is staying in Connecticut with his wife, you think if Dawson had an issue with location and he was cheating on his wife, he would stay away from Connecticut.
