Martinez didn't even get into boxing till he was 20...it would take some time for his skills to develop. As far as sucking...he only has 2 loses...one to Margarito early in his career and the other to Paul Williams and you know how the rematch ended. I would hardly call that sucking. If you're talking about Mario Javier Nieva...that was a draw and it was his 3rd fight...and at the time Nieva was 3-6 and Martinez then beat him immediately after on the rematch.
