Gamboa didn't show up for the IBF's second "morning-of" weigh-in, so they stripped him. Then the WBA followed suit, but they offered vague reasons. No one, including Yuri's camp, can tell you why. Truth is, the WBA trinket was never really earned anyway; Chris John is the rightful WBA titleholder.
