Dives are common in Boxing according to this person who was a Pro himself, but I can't imagine being all that common at that level, who knows.
To even bother repeating such a thing shows a level of ignorance and credulity that's hard to equal.

Not for the US but for Money and a rematch, but if it isn't on contract you're screwed, if it's true Tito got took.

Hopkins skipped off back to Philadelphia as quick as he could, so as not to interrupt his training, whereas Trinidad, stayed there, right up to fight night, helping shift and move rubble, and doing what he could to help. For him, the fight was secondary.

Unfortunately it had a bad effect on his performance, as well as the fact that he wasn't properly prepared for such a dirty fighter. I think that was why Papa trinidad said after the fight that he wasn't fit to train his son, and was giving up being a trainer.

Tito got whooped by hopkins all night long and couldn't do jack ****. Everybody knows it. No if ands and buts about it. Tito looked bad against de la hoya too so dont try to say tito never looked bad before. He just fought a greater fighter that night.

Which makes absolute PERFECT SENSE being that if Tito won he would have fought Roy Jones for a super mega fight which would have got him more money then fighting hopkins.

                  Genius!

Now go pluck your eyebrows and leave this thread alone.

i heard about that, but i wasn't to sure about it. which is why i found the whole hopkins trying to start the usa chant condescending.

Trinidad was on ground zero helping people while Hopkins was nowhere to be found. Is that an American hero?
