Kinda a rare dull Floyd interview, just a conglomeration of everything he's said the last two months.

"An example-last Friday, he Skyped with the troops in Afghanistan over, I guess it was around 2:00 a.m. and the reason why he did it was because he felt it was very important to be able to communicate with the troops and let them know how much he really appreciates what they've done for the country. He stayed on the phone with them, I think, it was over two hours.

During this time, he was able to give them a behind-the-scenes look at everything that he has going on in his life. For example, how he lives, all the wonderful things-like his cars and things of that nature, so it gave them a different perspective of actually to feel a part of what he has going on in his life."

Yeah, I bet the troops really felt like they're part of Floyd's lifestyle

I stopped at "Mosley and Marquez went into survival mode."

        What a load of crap.

You guys are funny as hell sometimes. But I'll pick apart some of the more interesting things he said that most will easily overlook.

          1. Talks about how his layoffs don't effect him as much. How he makes sure he stays within a certain weight limit (between 147-150). How he doesn't eat just anything. And most importantly, how he continues to work out and plays basketball a lot.

          2. Suggests that he can lose at any given time since "anything can happen".

          3. Mentions how he sometimes thinks about the fighters who he had defeated in the past and shows concern for them (Hernandez, Corrales, Gatti). He cried over Hernandez and told him he would help him however he could BEFORE he died, not just after.

          4. Tells one of the reporters that he is just as good as him and told the reporters that aren't some of them trying to be the best reporter?

          5. Briefly talks about his court cases, like the Josie Harris incident. How evidence isn't there, and how she just moved to California to get more money out of him (Cali has highest child support payments). Then how the guards are lying, and one of the cases comes from one that he fired.

          6. Says he will fight Ortiz aggressively, just as the Mosley fight.

          7. Talks bout how fighters today are not disciplined. That he doesn't think its cool to put on a bunch of water weight or glob down a bunch of food before a fight. And how he bets Ortiz is still weighing 160 right now. And that Floyd himself always comes into the fight between 147-150.

          8. How he tried to warn Mosley that he wasn't a partner in Golden Boy.

          9. Says he heard Ortiz was being disrespectful towards reporters on the conference call, and apologizes for him saying that he's just young and not used to this kind of major attention.

          10. Mentions that in training, he doesn't do shadow boxing. That he jumps right into the ring to spar.

          11. Briefly brought to light that Ortiz came up to him after the Marquez fight to give him props and he responding giving Ortiz encouragement that he will bounce back and become champion.

            Ask Floyd REAL Questions!!!!

            1) Why Floyd are you so adamant about the USADA as opposed to the WADA?

            2) Why Floyd have you hand picked opponents your entire career?

            3) Pacquiao agreed three times to random drug testing, and you opted Hatton, a 37 yr old Marquez 20+ lbs smaller than you, and Ortiz who got destroyed in 6 rounds by Maidana?

            4) Why did you choose Ortiz instead of Maidana, the guy who KO'd out Ortiz?

            5) Why did you wait til Mosley was 40 yrs old and never take him up on offers to fight during Mosleys prime?

            6) Why did you walk away from a $25m rematch with Oscar, when most thought Oscar won, and we know you're all about the 'money'?

            7) Why wont you fight Sergio Martinez or go up and fight Bernard Hopkins like Oscar had the balls to do?

            8) Why Floyd can't you pay your $9M back taxes you owe the IRS?

            9) Why Floyd are you involved in strip club gun brawls, setting such an example to your kids; forget the gun battles... As a father, why are you hanging out in strip clubs?

            10) How do you feel Floyd about the likelihood that sooner than later you, your father, and Uncle Roger will end up broke and behind bars???

I ended up reading the whole thing. I like it when Floyd just talks boxing and isn't trying to hype himself up. He's not the smartest man, but he knows the sport.

We are right on time today, and we really appreciate taking the time of the one and only chance Floyd "Money" Mayweather to have this conference call. He is coming off a blistering media workout yesterday for everybody that was in Las Vegas. Just a little homework before I introduce the principals. We are coming into Fight Week, and we are going to kick off Fight Week next Monday.

this is some boring ****. It's so long because he runs his mouth to much. I can't believe people believe anything he says. Those who do are bigger idiots then he is. Is he good? yeah but just because your good doesn't mean he won't blow smoke up your @$$.. He said something where you new Leonard would be a star and you new he would be a star. Duran, Chavez, Trinidad and Tyson didn't have an Olympic pedigree and they became huge stars. Hell Look at Hopkins, excon , Big star!
