Comments Thread For: Prescott: McCloskey's Brutal KO Will Make Khan Faint

Colombian junior welterweight Breidis Prescott (24-2, 19KOs) wants to make a statement on Saturday night at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. He faces Paul McCloskey (22-1, 12KOs) in a WBA eliminator. The winner becomes the mandatory challenger to WBA "regular" champion Marcos Maidana. Both Prescott and McCloskey would rather secure a fight with the WBA's "super champion" at 140, Amir Khan (26-1, 18KOs).

and if Prescott starts blowing out his a** after 5 rounds everybody is going to piss themselves...... Mon' McCloskey!

Actually looking forward to this fight though, McCloskey can **** a bit as well so should be explosive.

If Prescoot wins then I think Khan should rematch him in Decemeber but If Lucky Charms wins, I hope it would be the end of this Prescott rematch nonsense. I know Prescott KO'd him in one round but what they've done since proves that it was nothing more then a fluke...

As much as i want to see the Prescott-Khan rematch, i'd just love to see McCloskey give him a boxing lesson to make him look like a twat.

Khan was the last guy Prescott flat KO'd. He's only stopped one person since. One stoppage in 6 fights. No KO in 3 years. I think people are overrating Prescott's punching power or ability. McCloskey should have enough to beat Prescott.

He has to beat McCloskey if he wants the big fights as his manager also stated but somehow I still think after he looses he'll still be calling out Khan everyother day....love makes you do ****** things.
