Has Floyd evolved to become his own personal trainer? Just like Bhop.

Noticed during the most recent mitt work exercise he was giving Roger the directions, not the other way round.

He also said in an interview that he's the trainer, promoter and fighter.

    Anyone catch this?

Pretty much. He's been at it so long, he doesn't really need a trainer except to be his eyes outside of the ring during fights to pick up on opponents' mistakes.

Looks like it's got to that stage.

Floyd knows exactly what it takes to win fights.

Does he even strategise? Because from what I got off Roger in recent interviews he doesn't know squat about Victor Ortiz.

I think so. Roger though still says that he watches tape to catch the little things Floyd's opponents do in the ring.

Lol EVERY fighter needs a trainer... if not everybody would be losing

Trainer provides the game plan... fighters follow and even adapt

If Floyd went into a fight without trainer he'll lose. Watch the Zab fight. Even listen to his corner in the Mosley fight. He needs that. He said it himself, Rog is the best trainer

                  Yeah, he does.

                  "Keep doing what you're doing."

That's strategy. Roger's more like a co-trainer because Floyd is so damn good.

That was in the past. Most recently looks like Floyd's been doing it virtually all himself.
