Has Anyone Noticed The Increase In Behind-The-Head-Hitting?

I know it's gone on since the beginning of the sport but lately I've noticed an increase in behind-the-head hitting.

No one will ever admit they're doing it intentionally but I get the feeling behind-the-head targeting has quietly become an unspoken strategy within the arsenal of a couple of today's fighters.

Though the shot is illegal, it does effect the opponent and can even turn the tides in a fight.

I have to wonder if some of these guys are practicing the illegal blow such as how to disguise it or knowing when is a good time to deliver it.

When was the last time you noticed a ref take away a point for holding or clinching? Its the normal now, headdbutt/clinch/hug/run your way to a 12 round boring decision.

its the same as Lay and Pray in MMA.

Funny thing is that those in MMA that LnP have 0 fans.
Those in Boxing that hug/hold/clinch/run/butt have 0 fans.

Then ppl complain why nobody supporting their fighter when this cowardice goes on and on and on.

theres no increase. ppl are just either new fans who dont understand these fouls happen or they are much more whiny nowadays when they do happen.

the increase in behind-the-head hitting is tied to the increase in fighters trying 2 b floyd mayweather even though they're not fast enough n getting hit behind the head.
