That's pretty much the same thing I heard. I would like to see VF get back into shape and throw hands with Ronald Wright.

If this guy makes it past the 5th Forrest should retire.

        Why?

It's his second fight back. He's had loads of injuries and a LONG layoff.

Vargas is still not looking 100% after coming back from injuries. Forrest is still not looking 100% after coming back from injuries. So Forrest is now the black version of Vargas until he proves to me otherwise. So UD for VF is my call.

                hmm

Even with the injury history, Forrest has a good shot at being a champ again. 154 ain't all that and if Vernon gets too Karmazin before Mayorga does, he will be the man.

This coming from a non-Forrest fan.

Forrest is going to easily win the fight and then he should take another tune up fight, after this he should take on Vargas.

After his fight on the Taylor-Hopkins undercard, Vernon said that he wanted one or two more tuneups and then he'd fight whoever HBO wanted him to fight.

He is scheduled to fight a TBD opponent on the Taylor-Hopkins 2 undercard so I am guessing that will be his final tune up before engaging in some bigger fights next year.

                    I can't wait.
