That's the big issue with Cotto in regards to Margarito. He can't get his respect. If you can't keep the guy off of you, how you gonna beat him?

Cotto definitely looked good in the first half of the fight. I think if Cotto can keep from gassing, he might be able to keep that up for the entire fight this time.

Definitely looking forwards to this one.

Cotto needs to find a different way of keeping Tony at distance. He was taking 3-4 steps to Margarito's 1 in the 1st fight and that took a lot more of his stamina than I think he had anticipated.

Cotto was so shook that this rematch was set for right after the Mosley fight. Cotto will outbox Margarito in a very tough fight and win a ud or sd. I see this fight being similar to Cotto Mosley.

You gotta give it up to Cotto, he was boxing Marg beautifully during the first 6 rounds of that fight. Marg was still getting to him though, and Cotto just couldn't keep it up all night.

IMHO Cotto in the best condition of his life could possibly keep that up for 12 rounds, but unless Marg is seriously damaged from the beating he took from Pac, he will be getting to Cotto and will break him down.

What you gotta take into account though, is if Cotto could cause the same damage to Marg's face/eye, it still didn't stop Marg from taking everything Pac had for 12 rounds, shattered eye socket and all.

I could not possibly express my hatred for Antonio Margarito enough and it shocks me how so many of you still overrate him and suck him dry every chance you get. Simple solution: instead of being a headhunter, Cotto will go for the bodyshot KO.

Tony ain't running anywhere, he will be there to hit. He is much slower, still durable, but hasn't really let his hands go like the old Tony. When all you got left is a chin, you're just a walking heavybag. He may have a good chin, but as slow as he is moving, I would go to the body like chopping down a tree.

Was Cotto winning early in the fight yes but Margarito was landing some serious shots on Cotto. Cotto was landing more but Margarito was landing everywhere on Cotto. Margarito was consistently hitting Cotto in the chest while Cotto was punching that **** takes the steam out of any man plaster or not. Cotto needs to learn to clinch and reset after the ref breaks them up. IMO Cotto more or less lost because of what he didn't do instead of what Margarito did. Margarito face was messed up after that fight as well his face was on swoll!
