Even though Cotto lost to Margarito, I don't believe Marg was the same after that fight. Like you said, Cotto landed all kinds of punches, including the kitchen sink.

Next, Margarito got TKO'd by Mosley, then Pac gave Margarito a severe beating. Antonio has taken a lot of wear and tear on his body. Who knows, if Stewart can come up with a good game plan, maybe Cotto can redeem himself.

having a substance in your gloves that hardens as the fight goes on does wonders for your confidence and your ability to gain respect late

i see no reason the fights will look similar. without plaster implements margarito really isn't a puncher.

Margs is tough and naturally bigger than true sized welter weights. He ate more punishment against Pacquiao and never stopped coming forward.

That's the big issue with Cotto in regards to Margarito. He can't get his respect. If you can't keep the guy off of you, how you gonna beat him?

Cotto definitely looked good in the first half of the fight. I think if Cotto can keep from gassing, he might be able to keep that up for the entire fight this time.

Definitely looking forwards to this one.

They both damaged goods man, Margarito got more to prove in this fight. I think he's going to be extra hard just to prove his innocence.

Cotto chin always been shakey, I feel Margarito got this as much as I want Cotto to win tho.

I see the 2nd fight ending the same way. Marg's doesn't respect cotto as a man or a fighter, he will treat cotto like a woman again.
