If you thought Ortiz was jabbing too high

Go back and watch floyd's open workout on the mitts with roger, alot of his jab are sky high. Why you ask? To strengthen your arm so when you're in the fight it won't get tired as fast.

    He rarely uses his jab.

Depends on the game plan, he used it a lot against Marquez.

What the video says, your head titled in that angle plays a mirage where they think they can hit u but your farther than they think, u off that center line. some fighter stance is with there weight on there back foot and head always titled to the side, your head alot farther than the traditional stance. since your more lower you have to throw the jab upwards as oppose to forward...

also throwing your punches higher than usual is a better shoulder workout than str8 forward...

so it can mean one or the other or both.

            I was referring to Ortiz.

Floyd even when he doesn't make it a main weapon, still uses it way more than Ortiz.
