Floyd Sr may have done a good job teaching his son how to box but he did a horrible job teaching him how to behave in public. There are no winners when you argue and disrespect your own blood.

I kinda like floyd as a person and have always given him the benefit of the doubt, but that behaviour with his own dad and chipping in by saying 'i got my house paid blablabla and calling his dad a ****** went way too far.I think these are very common in the setting he was born.This guy used to spar with his own sibling and uncles, so i can imagine insults is like a hug to them thats why a term ***********al sometimes best describe the family.
I remember Bob Arun recalling a fight between floyd and the dad in a restaurant when his dad was his manager.

I hope he doesn't end up becoming what his dad fear for that he will one day run in the street of grand rapids broke.

I could careless what they said or showed on 24/7 if that is how they felt at the time then so be it. Life is not always fun or sweet. Relationships with anybody in this world is not about titles(mother,father,grandmother,grandfather,son,d aughter,nephew,niece,aunt or uncle) its about how those people treated you and how you treat them and what level of respect you earned from each other. If father never acts like a father or did fatherly things why should they get that level of respect and love? Just cause of title yall are ****ing crazy!!!

That was the ultimate disrespct , to not respect and honor ones parents is very vile and cheap. watching that argument was the last straw for me as much as I cant stand ******ed pacfans I hope pac ko's mayweather brutally or ortiz for that matter, fraud jr is a coward a lowlife and frankly a deep embarrasment to his people and boxing. I don't agree with the things Mayweather said but you guys weren't there when Sr was beating Jr. and his mom. Obviously this **** has been boiling over for years and Floyd has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to his father. We can't judge the man if we haven't walked a day in his shoes. Anyone who's had issues with their fathers know exactly how Floyd felt though they may not agree with how reacted.

Well said. So many floyd haters that they dont realize that sometimes a "father" is only the person who signed the birth certificate, if they were even there to do that. That doesnt entitle them to respect or love from you. And that is Floyds relationship. He hates his father but tries. If you are barely learning that then you havent followed boxing because that is well documented.

Ortiz on 24/7 said he saw his father and that his father was proud that Ortiz had his name tattooed on his back cause like Sr told Jr, thats my name and i made you. So Ortiz covered it and said it on national TV. Pretty much saying his father is crap and wants nothing to do with him. Why arent we saying hes an Ahole too?
