I see Floyd standing toe to toe and picking Ortiz apart within combinations...Ortiz starts getting overwhelmed and is forced to box (like he did against Peterson late)...I doubt we see a stoppage but I see it going similiar to the Mosley fight, except Ortiz puts up more of a fight until the mid to late rounds...

Unless Ortiz lands a bomb early, no way is he winning or controlling the pace of the fight...

Believe it or not the person who gave Floyd his toughest fight (besides Castillo) was Oscar who had the skills to box with Floyd...Ortiz isn't Oscar tho and doesn't have as good a jab...

Basically, IMO Ortiz has what most Mayweather opponents have, a puncher's chance...I don't think he has the skills/fundamentals to beat Floyd...he's gonna come with the same gameplan everyone did...try and impose your will on Floyd...nobody's done it successfully yet tho...

This is the interesting part of the fight--whether Ortiz gets stopped or schooled for 12 rounds. If Floyd really does stand in front of him it will be a good watch like the Mosley fight. I hope it is the case

            ORTIZ ain't no HATTON !!

2nd: Jr. is a LIAR ! He claims a KO every fight

3rd: Maybe he is half lying this time, saying there will be a KO,,,,cause HE IS THE ONE that gets KO'd !!!!!!!!! good,,,he needs to be on his back with his legs kicking like a chicken

4th: Jr. is going DOWN,,,,,PRESSURE is ALL on JR and the *****'s

NONE on the ORTIZ TEAM or those who believe in what he will DO on SEPT 17th !!!!!!!!!

Ortiz was picked to LOSE but I am among many who think different.

Jr. is nervous , you should be nervous, your dictator is soon to FALL and come to his END and no one will be able to help him.

Yeah , there are three things ORTIZ MUST DO TO WIN:

#1- Fight thru the frustration Jr will impose but not like Hatton , no bumrushing with you chin out and eyes closed.

#2- Jab Jab Jab, Done in ODH had it his way when he Jabbed. Ortiz must Jab until its OVER

#3- When ORTIZ cracks JR and stuns him he can't let up like all the rest, the latest being, OLD MAN MOSLEY. He can' LET UP !!

Ortiz must do all three or he loses.

              ORTIZ to win by KO!!!

I see Money beating Ortiz bigtime (BIGTIME!!!!) HOWEVER if he goes for the KO instead of using what get's him his W.....I guarantee Ortiz comes out the Victor, Literally.

LOL Manny Pacquiao couldn't knockout an older Mosley and an even smaller Juan Manuel Marquez despite dropping him FOUR times in 2 fights. No one has been able to knockout either of those guys so don't act like its something to use against Floyd. Besides we've seen Victor Ortiz quit and be dropped numerous times against lesser fighters. As a counter puncher the way you get a knockout is by having your opponent come forward. Look at Floyds knockouts in his early career and even some of the knockouts by JMM, all their KOs happened when the opponent came forward. If an opponent goes on the defensive like Mosley has then we are much more likely to see a decision. If the opponent continues to come forward Ala Hatton we are much more likely to see the KO.

Some of you have absolutely no clue how the sweet science works. Floyd hasn't lost power he has adjusted his style, focusing more on defense and counter punching then coming forward as he did during the days of Pretty Boy.
