Floyd is striking another psychological blow with this fight. Ortiz gave MP the best sparring he's ever had, and the best sparrng Roach has ever seen, now i know it's only sparring, but if Floyd handles Ortiz with ease it has to put doubt in Manny's mind, especially if he has problems dispatching JMM (but he won't )

Does every ****ing tread turn into a May/Pac dilusional fan war? With that said Ortiz does have a chance if he can maintain high lvl of pressure on May and outwork him in the first few rds. IMO the diff in age is not a factor May has never taken punishment in his career @ 34 he still quite fresh and not battle worn. It would be amazing if both Ortiz and Marquez oulled it of. (lots of prayers needed)

He needs to jump on Floyd like a hungry wolf, bite him and not let go. He needs to come to win and impose his physical advantages. He needs to throw that short sharp right hook inside and ding Floyd on top of his dome and snap his neck back. Problem is Floyd is good fighting backwards and has a happy knack of walking fighters into big shots. Also Ortiz doesn't jab much, so he may have problems getting close, and Floyd uses that left hook in a texbook fashion against aggressive come forward fighters.

how can manny give ortiz a shot but pacfans find this fight a disgrace in mayweathers favor?
well, first of all you added some fluff to that quote didn't you? ("unbelievably") mayweather vs Ortiz is a good fight. And Pac sparred Ortiz when he was training for David Diaz at 135, why do people act like it was recently? This is where Freddie's advice really stems from, seeing Ortiz come into the gym at 147-ish, and telling Ortiz he fights better at this weight.

Personally, I don't think Ortiz has a prayer. Winning one fight against an unproven fighter in Berto doesn't automatically erase the bad loss to Maidana and his history of having a questionable heart. Plus, this will be Ortiz's first megafight and he may fold mentally just from the big event atmosphere. Whereas, Floyd will come in very confident.

I agree. Pac is being very honest. He's telling everybody why he turned down Victor's challenge and he's also telling you why he will NEVER face Floyd cause that will be the 2nd fighter Floyd dismantled that gave Manny hell in the ring. Victor is all braun and not much brain thats why he doesnt have a chance aganst Floyd. Bob Arum is also telling the true story of why he hasnt put Manny in with Floyd, LMFAO.

It sure was recent when Ortiz challenged Manny's ass, lol. Yeah freddy also said no when Ortiz said "thanks for the advice Manny now let's fight", LMFAO!!!
