Agreed...I guess it's official...Vanes is afraid of angulo or maybe he's getting advice from Kelly Pavlik...

yeah i think something on vanes' side is holding this fight back a bit, perhaps his promoter? haha, idk. i think bigpoppapump said angulo and vanes share the same advisor or manager, not sure. but i do remember reading an article where vanes said he's down for it, but nothing since then has come up. i posted in your thread regarding the same topic where de la hoya plans to "build angulo up" for a year or two before facing him with alvarez, ain't that some *****? i think alvarez is fully capable of facing this guy late next year, but i think they actually want the interest to build and alvarez to continue improving before doing that fight. i say angulo goes after the other titles, dzinziruk, k9, or the margs/cotto winner.

I believe bigpoppapump said Angulo and WOLAK had the same manager. Vanes did say he's down with fighting el perro but that's all he is....TALK.

Alvarez is a house hold name and Alfredo Angulo is getting their because all the time they mention Alvarez El perro's name pops up.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to build up that fight...Alvarez/angulo would be huge either in may (cinco de mayo weekend) or September (mexican ind. day).
