i dont get how people are saying Ortiz is a cherry picked opponent, did he not just beat the previously undefeated champ in Berto? and it was a hell of a fight, Ortiz is a legit WW Champion and is ranked only lower than Floyd and Pac in the rankings so who would haters like Floyd to fight? Ortiz has a chance if he comes in very prepared but the fact is he does leave himself open a fair bit and no one can counter like Floyd, so if he makes Ortiz look silly all night people will say he was cherry picked but he is the next best thing and a legit champion. honestly who would've been a better opponent?

that's a myth....floyd counters beatifully but only with his right straight aka pullcounter....he sometimes counters with other shots in close range but all pitty pat punches....jmm and nonito are better counter punchers than him....

Anyone who knows and watches boxing, not just one particular fighter, the sport in general, knows damn well Floyd is light years ahead of Ortiz. Ortiz has a 2% chance at beating Floyd and I'm just being nice.

Bottom-line is this, Floyd is a business man a smart one at that. He can sell a mismatch fight to a fan of WWE. Floyd knows his diehard closed minded bamboozled fans will pay for his fights. He also knows the millions of haters will pay for the PPV in hopes to see him get KOed or see him loose. Floyd don't care about fans. He cares about one thing MAKING MONEY, even ifmit means selling easy wins at a low risk.
