the sequel to the fighter could be the other "fighter", gatti, his lead up to
their trilogy, maybe the best trilogy ever in boxing......
and these two became great friends after......
And what's all this fascination about a fight "trilogy", being used so much recently as if it was a new word a kid learned. It's only 3 fights, and in the Gatti-Ward trio, only the first one was a battle, the other two were dead by comparison. I'd rather watch Mayweather and Emanuel Burton/Augustus, anyday. That was fighting and SKILL.
Do you guys realise that there are many fighters who have fought each other more than 3 times....? It's nothing special. Jack Britton and Ted Kid Lewis fought each other 20 times. And there were many pairs with large multiple meetings.

Also unless it was shown only in a few flashes, it would take up much of the film. What's so special about the Gatti family anyway? It must be something I don't know about. Gatti himself, apart from being a great ring warrior, was a woman beater, and a drunken brute.

Both Gatti and Ward have plenty of fights better the last two fights of their trilogy.
Gatti's fights with Robinson, Ruelas, Rodriguez, Manfredy....Ward's fights with Augustus, Diaz, Green, and Neary deserve more attention.

Gatti family shouldve just went to Gott, this time instead of a purse strap make it a handwrap, see how she likes it.

This report incorrectly stated that Gatti's family hired the investigators but it was Gatti’s manager Pat Lynch that hired them.
I heard the same in an interview today plus the following link:
"Internationally renowned private investigators Paul Ciolino of Chicago and Joseph Moura of Boston have been hired by Gatti’s manager Pat Lynch to investigate Gatti’s death. "

So that's what falling for good looks and a great lay gets you. Not knowing the details of their relationship, one may assume they had a stormy one that was eventually going to explode in the worst way.
Very likely jealousy may have had a lot to do with it as well. Not a good mix either way.
Generally after the first heated argument where violence and threats may be involved, the warning signals are loud and clear:
Shit Ain't Gonna Get Better! Just Get Up And Leave And Don't Look Back!

No such thing as justice. Maybe someone will pay to have her disappear forever, so Gatti finally has justice. I doubt it tho, it seems like women can do all type of crazy things and get away with it. Like that one woman who doesn't report her child missing for 30 days and is shocked everyone thinks she killed her child.
And like that one woman from my town who only got 5 years for blowing her cop husbands brains out with a *******. Then she went on to order a pizza like nothing happened and got into a fight with the pizza shop owners.
