And I question yours. Pacman has fought several fights at the weight and TRAINED to be at that weight thus has naturally put on muscle mass for the weight - that doesn't go away. Now whenever he sheds, his peak will forever be at welter.

The same goes for anyone who moves up. The first time up is always the hardest, but if you remain there your body adjusts. Pacman has been adjusted, it doesn't make him bigger.. just comfortable at the weight now.

I was never really that concerned with a possible size difference, just whether Marquez will have decent speed and be able to get his punches off. Lets hope so.

HAHA i LOVE proving pac-haters wrong. . . size means NOTHING in this fight - pacquiao holds no advantage. THANKS!
Pacquiao is way younger? He's proven at the higher weights, Marquez is not. So yes he holds all the advantages.

            Let me get this right...

Floyd isn't too big for Pac but is too big for Marquez who isn't too small for pac? Or.. Pac isn't too big for Marquez who was too small for Floyd but isn't too small for Floyd? or... Wait..

No matter how i spin it, the logic is skewed. People just don't want to accept the fact that Floyd was leagues above Marquez. had marquez fought another welter like.. I dunno. Berto for example, I doubt we'd be saying he can't carry the weight well.
Floyd is bigger than Pac too. He's a real WW who could fight at JMW.

Pac could still make 135 easy.

I'll be tuning in. I have my thoughts on the fight as well, I do think he will stop Marquez as well. he carries teh weight better - he's trained for it longer thus he's obviously going to be MUCh stronger than previously when they both fought at the same weight for long periods.

But that's a given. I'll be tuning in as a fan of the sport.

They're the same size, who gives a ****.
few cm shorter/taller...Marquez looks buff and come fight night both will be prepared.
Too bad Marquez isn't going to see rnd 12.

although PAC has filled up well at WW, PAC and JMM are almost the same size/weight at fight night if they come in at their regular fightnight weight, PAC @148 and JMM @144 ...

I hope Marquez dont make the mistake of going beyond his optimum fightnight weight and I do expect a WAR as good as the first 2 fights...

I wonder if Manny is losing mass now that he's not currently cycling. Or maybe he's just tapering down in anticipation of a potential Floyd fight that they seem to be warming to.
