I like both Osuna and Kenny.

The best that could have happened for boxing is Osuna replacing Teddy Atlas, and Kenny staying on.

But it's not a perfect world.



Some people posted on ESB that he was having differences with Teddy Atlas.

I don't think anyone gets along with Teddy. I'm not surprised.

the fact that no ones ever heard of him doesn't mean anything. they hire new sports anchors all the time.

Understand but the thing is BK was huge. He did maybe more main anchor spots for SC in recent years than anyone. He also was in commercials with boxers and the such. This guy Osuna isn't going to be on Sportscenter or anything. He's going to be strictly boxing and will only be shown during FNF. He might be good but the way most Americans will look at this is "it's just another Mexican covering boxing, no whites like that stuff". I hope this guy does well but BK was really good at what he did.

That's interesting to say the least. I don't watch the MLB network much but may be more inclined to do so now. I always regarded BK as the modern day Howard Cosell type anchor. He is far better than most and one of the only reasons I watched ESPN if I had time to do so.

Bernardo Osuna is damn good at what he does. And, a boxing fanatic.

That's what I'm gathering but he doesn't have the same "pull" as BK with ESPN.

i think osuna is pretty good. i don't even speak fluent spanish and i always enjoyed his commentary on telefutura. he's been on espn and shobox before. it's not like they just grabbed some random dude who doesn't know anything about boxing
