    "No Heart?"

Yesterday i was training some of my fighters (i own a gym in Mexico City) and some of the kids were talking about their fav boxers. Then one of the kids said i dont like so and so because he has no "heart" (i am not going to say who he was talking about because i wont go into that whole debate with any fanatic on this board) And i told the kid to pack his bag leave my gym and dont come back, everybody was shocked and then i explained that is ok for someone to say if thay just watch boxing, but for someone who is training to be a fighter that is unexcusable, because a boxer should know what is envolved in this game and i dont have time to try to explain thing a real fighter should already know

If the guy was talking about one of your fighters, I'd say a disciplinary should be in order but kicking him out is too much. You're only going to generate more hate for yourself and I'm sure the boxer who was insulted (assuming it was your fighter) thinks the same.
Go call up the guy you kicked out and invite him back to the gym but don't apologize for what you did that day. He should know better now.

*******? that is likely, but i teach these kids for free and if you know the dedication and time i spend on these kids and the very harsh way i learned how to box, in comparison i am a saint. and listen if this kid is not smart enough to know this game is about "hit and dont be hit do on to others then split" then trust me i did him a favor because this game is not for the macho it is for the smart. i am blind in one eye from this game so i respect it more than others

if the kid has got the heart he's gonna come back to the gym by himself. otherwise screw him. you did the right thing.

BUT, despite your opinions (and his though a kid) you could have saved him from a life in the streets and turned him away from the wrong elements that would corrupt him to do wrong where you “could’ve” steered him to do right.

while i respect your view but my job is not to save the world, and if the kid is smart enough he will understand and come back and say he is sorry for disrespecting this game and the realize that anyone who walks up those steps to trade punches with someone else has more than enough heart
