Does Floyd Jr Do Better Or Worse Than Floyd Sr Against Ray Leonard?

i just read an article in which Sugar Ray Leonard stated, in response to Mayweather Jr's statement that he would have beat him in his prime:

"In 1979 I knocked out Floyd's father and you know what I say, like father like son."

Floyd Sr (16-1) was floored twice by Leonard (13-0) in the 8th before losing in the last round (the 10th) by TKO when the referee stopped the fight.

Does Floyd Sr give a glimpse of what Jr would have done against Leonard?

Does Floyd Jr do better or worse than Sr against SRL?

Better. His father was a stronger Boxer than he is, but i don't think Sr was as accurate of a puncher as his son is. Nonetheless, SRL would still beat Floyd.

Better. Floyd Jr overall is a better skilled a more physically talented person than his Dad was. I still pick Leonard to win though, maybe not as bad of an ass whipping.
