How can Khan fans say Prescott is begging for a pay day?

I still don't get it. What if Khan agrees to fight Prescott and Prescott
wins again? The same cycle repeats -- Khan makes a comeback and
Prescott gets defeated again in other fights. Another rematch?

I'm not objecting to a rematch. I'm just saying Prescott needs to do well outside of Khan first before asking for a rematch. Again why would he want
a rematch when he already beat Khan? Bigger pay day? If that is the case,
you don't insult the guy. You simply wait for Khan to ask for a rematch.
Meanwhile, try focusing on fights they put in front of you.

I don't criticize fans for wanting this fight. I want to see a rematch too. It's Prescott I'm taking issue with.

He beat a weak Amir Khan who never should've have fought on that date. He also threw at least four punches that he has shown in subsequent fights that he simply doesn't have in his locker - bit of a miracle fight for the bloke.

That was the epitome of a freak result - which is why any half-decent Brit fighter targets Prescott for a winnable fight with name recognition.

This is just simply nitpicking. The situations are very similar. Those fighters have gone on to forge great careers without avenging knockout losses. Im not saying I wouldnt like to see Khan take the rematch.Im just amazed at how much ***** he gets in comparison to others.

It's not nitpicking... you're comparing Prescott-Khan to Pacquiao-Singsurat/Torrecampo and Margz-Martinez. Please, fill me in on the time when Singsurat/Torrecampo/Martinez all decided to talk trash and follow Pacquiao and Margarito everywhere they went...? Please do.

When you can do that, let me know when Pacquiao and Martinez became drunk with arrogance in saying that they were the best in the sport and that their time is now.

It's simple... Khan runs his mouth, is doing the same thing as Prescott by picking at Mayweather, yet he's never beat Mayweather, is nowhere near his level, and got sparked out in less than 60 seconds against the guy who keeps bothering him.

Those guys you mentioned lost to good fighters though.

Prescott.........erm - maybe at a certain level but not the level that fights for world titles. It should have been made ages ago, all Prescott has done since then is put his own reputation into perspective.

Larry i normally agree with you but are you serious? Regardless of the Khan v Mayweather thing...do you seriously think Khan (at this point of his career) is scared of Prescott? Prescott is saying he'll "spit at him and his father"...if thats not STARVING for a payday i don't know what it is. Prescott- no class, he'll probably get beaten by the Irish taxi driver this weekend but i hope he wins so he re-matches Khan and gets brutally destroyed over 12 rounds. One hit wonder
