Povetkin is tailor-made for Haye. He's fairly easy to hit, and not a big puncher so he's no threat.

I think while watching Povetkin-Chagaev, Haye must have been licking his chops.

(Mind you, someone with a style like Eddie Chambers would give Haye lots of problems, wear him out, and stop him late. And Chris Arreola has a good chin and power, so he'd be more dangerous than Povetkin for Haye.)

Sauerland has said he wants the fight. I can see it happening, but not in December - Haye probably won't return until sometime in 2012.

Povetkins manager is full of ****, he's just syaing that to give the impression Povetkin is willing to fight legitimate contenders: he's not. Haye would take that belt in 3 rounds, why would they do that after keeping him protected since the Chambers fight?

Dude is the JCC JR of the heavyweight division. Holyfield's his next opponent.

You are, serously, joking. Haye not care about the WBA belt???? That pathetic narcissist practically slept with it when he had it before. He prefaced almost EVERY sentence with "After I won the World heavyweight Title"...or "when I won the World heavyweight crown".....
Just like he probably is still walking around in open toed sandals so that he can show everybody who can't cross the street quickly enough when they see him coming,...his TOE.

          I found that amusing too.

What's laughable about this whole situation would be if Haye and Povetkin did fight, and Haye won (which I would favour him to do against this version of Povetkin), that would mean Haye reclaims the belt he gave up so meekly to Wlad. And Haye is shameless enough to milk it again.

Didn't Froch hint at Haye retiring? If Haye isn't retiring then I'd like to see Povetkin/Haye.
You'd get beat up. And you are the coward. Saying you're in Philly when you really are not. Piss off loser moron.

povetkin says he wants to fight holyfield and now david haye? hayes coming off a loss to wladimir over a title which wladimir is the real champion off but the WBA being the joke they are strip their real champs of their belts e.g. gamboa, khan and wlad, and then he wants to fight a near 49 year old holyfield for his next defence?

Could just be the management talking... If I understand correctly, he's not the biggest puncher. This might be the fight Holyfield "gets it" and retires after. Maybe...
