Well, the US has football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and MMA. Boxing has to compete agaisnt them.

boxing is not really a factor in the US if you think about it, boxing is BEHIND MMA in the US to be brutally honest, MMA don't depend on 1 or 2 Stars, they have MULTIPLE compared to Boxing who only have 2 LEGIT SUPERSTARS (Mayweather and Pacquiao)

thanks to Pacquiao and Mayweather...BOXING FANS ARE SPLIT NOW! And the RACISM IN BOXING is at a All Time High which is funny because Bob Arum was accusing MMA Fans at Being Racist a few years ago lol

So you have these Boxing fans who only watch when those guys are fighting but they don't support anyone else

those two are the only fighters that can get fans to come out and see their bout when fighting in the US...other fighters you will notice A LOT OF EMPTY SEATS at their fights

America SUCKS when it comes to supporting their own, it is so many bandwagon jumpers in America, they love you today then hate you tomorrow for NO REASON

one huge advantage MMA/UFC will have is its popularity with YOUNGER FANS! that could pay off in the future big time, plus Dana White give the fans the matches THEY WANT TO SEE...BOXING DON'T!
