Sarcasm is so underrated and so not understandable here.

You guys are really underestimating trees.

Let's face it, the kid has just one fight at welter, leaky defense, and despite the resolve he showed in the Berto fight, there are still too many question marks about his determination and mental mindset in Championship rounds.

That said, my perception of everything changed last evening. During the 24/7 broadcast, Victor dropped a bombshell on the boxing community and the world in general when he candidly explained he was, in fact, literally a tree. Now, a viewer with less attention to detail would skim over this seemingly unimportant statement or ignore it entirely. However, I decided to dig a little deeper, and honestly, what I found was nothing short of shocking. Let me bold and underline and following sentence so to as to provide for full effect:

Floyd Mayweather Jr, in 41 professional bouts, has never fought a tree.

Let me say that again: Floyd Mayweather has never fought a tree before. And if you don't believe me, a quick glance at Boxrec will corroborate what I'm saying entirely. Let's just take a look at some of his most recent fights to prove the point:

          Shane Mosley (not a tree)
          Juan Manual Marquez (no tree)
Ricky Hatton (may eventually become a tree, but currently not a tree)
Oscar De La Hoya (cross-dresser lacking both heterosexual and tree-based qualities)

I guess what I'm saying here is : How does Floyd plan to deal with his wildcard from a strategy standpoint? Yes 41 have tried and 41 have failed, but 0 trees have tried and 0 trees have failed. This is certainly cause for concern, and I think it may end up being Floyd's undoing.... folks, things just got a lot more interesting in this fight.

I think that 1 year "vacation" at his age was a mistake. Also if not now, then never.

                Ortiz fighting!

Anyone think thinks Ortiz will win is taking a wild ass guess or doesn't respect Floyd's skills as much as they should.
