To buy into the hype, I would have to have seen Ortiz improve in all areas.

Unfortunately, Ortiz was knocked down twice in his last fight. It wasn't just the knock down. It appears that when Ortiz's opponents swing they are able to hit Ortiz.

Even go back 2 fights ago against Peterson. Peterson was able to counter effectively. There was even some nice pull countering. I'm sure that Floyd and his team saw this as well.

Hopefully Ortiz is working on his defense not just his offense.

I'm enjoying the 24/7 and the whole Ortiz story but I don't for a second buy into the hype that he's capable of beating Mayweather. I hope I'm wrong.

I believe that fight will still happen since Pac likes fighting guys coming off losses. Also it would give the Pacquiao camp greater leverage in the negotiations.

While Floyd looked good towards the end of the Mosley fight, you can tell it took him some time to find his rhythm. That's AGE knocking on his door. Believe it.

If you want Ortiz to beat Mayweather tell him to watch Mosley -Mayweather fight every single day because Mayweather will fight same way.Period.

The problem is i am really tired of seeing people go in there and make it easy night for Mayweather. I am not sure i will watch this fight live even. I will sleep and wake up after the fight to check the record on Wikipedia. If Ortiz wins then i go out and party all night and if he loses i go back to sleep.

Let me just say that if and that a big IF Victor wins, it won't be by knockout....Ortiz is not knocking out Floyd.

Victor couldn't stop Peterson or Berto, so how in the world is he knocking out Floyd, one of the best defensive fighters today.

Floyd chin is proven, he has been rocked several times and stayed erect unlike Ortiz who has been down several times.
