Lucian Bute is the best super middleweight in the world

Lucian Bute (29-0, 24 KOs) is the real deal. Slick southpaw, fast hands, fast feet, very skilled, devastating knockout power, best body puncher in boxing, best uppercut in boxing, etc.

Yeah. His record consists almost exclusively of future HOF'ers.

nah, the winner of Froch-Ward is undoubtedly the best at 168.

If Bute faces off against either of them and beats them, then of course you could consider him the best. and thatd be awesome, Id love to see Bute vs either of them. but until then his record just doesnt stand up.

lets see what he can do against Johnson, who no doubt will be his toughest test in his career.

It would be nice if he showed it. His biggest challenge is about to be Glen Johnson, which pales in comparison to the fighters that Kessler, Ward and Froch have defeated.

Obviously whoever wins the super 6 is the no. 1 smw. No debate.

He should be able to beat Johnson, Johnson is a better defense version of Andrade in my opinion. I think Bute wins by clear decision win.

Not saying much tho because Johnson at this point isn't that big of a win, Johnson has lost to the best lately. Froch, Cloud, and Dawson. If you go by Dawson in the rematch, Johnson only gave Froch and Cloud problems since Dawson handled Johnson easy in the rematch.

I agree he's the best, but he has to beat the SS winner. Time will tell.

I know if he doesn't spark johnson out in 1 round people are gonna say "see I told you he was overrated! "
