  • Comments Thread For: Holyfield Says Qawi The Toughest, Praises Tyson

On October 19th, former four time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 KOs) will be 49-years-old. The veteran wants to hang around until he receives another shot at the title, and recently there has been some talk about facing WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin on December 17th in Zurich.

Cmon man, use your head and INVEST YOUR MONEY. You fought for how many years and have nothing to show for it, do it for your fans. Im sure you could still make a million or so. invest that cash, buy some property, make your kids get jobs and for them to stop relying on you. Or does Holyfield owe alimony to a bunch of them since they aint 18 yet?

Stop having kids dude. I have a feeling all his kids are going to have their own kids at age 14-15 and those kids will be having their own kids at age 14-15. Poor old Holyfield gonna be fighting at 80 years old competing for the USBO belt

Anyone on this site who's never seen Holyfield-Qawi 1, should watch it first chance they get. I think it's the best fight Holyfield was ever in.

lol im pretty sure a lot of his kids are still under 18; or if some kids are in college or "secondary school", in the state of georgia, he's gotta keep paying till 20. in NY it's age 21 I believe, and some other states as well - it's their way of making the father pay rather than the taxpayers. i think he has like 9 odd kids (that we know about). lol holyfield just can't stop SLICING! Throwing too many females up on the chopping block haha.

Good thing is Holyfield is an athletic specimen, and is still in excellent shape, so he could probably keep fighting for another 3-4 years. But as a fan, I DO NOT want to see him step in the ring with a Klitschko brother; I don't think they would fight him anyway, unless they had to for risk of being stripped. Even then I think they would go easy on him, just like I think Valuev didn't attack him as hard as he could have.

I really do feel bad for holy. Yeah it's all his fault, but I think he was born with a very low I.Q

Thanks to Christianity brainwashing him that condoms are against god he had like 20 kids.

Holyfield-Qawi 1 is one of the best fights I ever saw.

              And possibly his best win.

I was looking up Net Worths the other day and noticed that Both Tyson and Holyfield are delineated at $1 mill each, which is basically saying "we don't know, because it's too low to register on our charts". And for Holyfield's most recent fight, the published amount was either $4 or $500,000.

I was checking Net Worths the other day, and both Tyson's and Holyfield's were down as $1mill each. This is the same as saying that they don't register on their charts at all. So they are basically earning their "needed to live" funds right now. Holyfield got $400,000 for his last fight, according to a BoxingScene report.
