Actually, thats EXACTLY what he did:

Look at the first slow motion, he lowers his head, and runs into him.

Berto landed like 30 less power shots and 20 less punches than Zavek, you guys were just being biased by HBO.

Berto was dead tired at end of round #4, his hands were down, he was real slow and his mouth was wide open, in the corner he kept gasping for breath.

Zaveck was just chilling with his mouth closed breathing normally. He outlanded berto + out power shotted berto by a GOOD margin. Berto was slowing down and he was WIDE OPEN FOR SHOTS. If the fight continued without a cut there was no way Berto wouldve survived 8 more rounds as he was out of breath in the 5th.

Take a look at the replay and look at the slow motion, or go watch the fight without Sound, most of berto's punches hit leather.

ALSO- he had a n iron deficiency issue. That is not something that can be corrected in a month or two, these things take 6 months to a year to correct themselves fully. LEts see his stamina over the next two fights.

Say what you what, make all the excuses you want... he was touching Zavec up for the entire fight.
Zavec was touching up Berto more though...

it may have looked like that be3cause berto has poor footwork. but zaveck wasnt hurting him and throwing a lot of loose wild punches.

I didnt say he was rocking Berto, but he was clearly hitting him more and more the fight went on.

Completely concur with this. Also, I haven't seen a gif of the second headbutt yet on here (the one that happened at the end of the 5th round) but the HBO slo-mo replay clearly showed it was headbutt. At this point though it would have been meaningless for Zavek to make a stink about it because his other eye was nearly closed up by that time.

Jan outlanded Andre nearly 2 to 1, landing 43% total punches to Bertos 23%. Andre was clearly tiring IMO. Had the headbutts not occured, Zavek had a good chance of beating/stopping Berto in the end although unfortunately my feeling is that the judges would have scored it for Berto. Headbutts do happen in boxing obviously, however the replay this thread (both of the first headbutt) - that first one does look a little bit unintentionally intentional

What I haven't seen anywhere yet is - what was the official judges scorecards at the time of the stoppage??
