  • Nice headbutt Berto! - proof inside

Berto stops Jan Zaveck with headbutt.

Was he afraid of fair battle? HBO blinked and didn't see it?

I would not say that it was - fully - intentional, but this fight would of defenetly not ended up like that, if it was not for a headbut.

I could see Zaveck winning in the next few rounds or at least on the scorecards. Shame, but this is boxing, i guess.

Hopefully, he gets at least another chance if not a rematch, which he would fully deserve, due to the everything that he has shown in this fight.

In all my years watching Boxing, I have never ever seen a PUNCH make a Face Swell up so fast. Zavec had a cut on his eyebrow that was from a punch but that wasnt affecting his vision, Berto headbutted him and kept rubbing his head into it.

Berto was already gassing by round #4. You can tell in their corners berto was gasping for air with his mouth wide open and Zavek was just sitting there mouth closed and always got to the center first while Berto slowly walked.

Berto wouldve lost if it was a cut-free fight

Majority of you dudes are little b1tches. You cry about absolutely anything if your guy doesn't get the win. Stop watching boxing, it will save you some headaches.

Nobody is crying, so you should calm down a bit. Specially not Zaveck, who has nothing to do with this, as you call, "crying". He would of not said anything bad about anyone, even if he would get robbed on the scorecards, as some fighters in the past did already. He took it as a man and i think, that he came out of this fight stronger than he ever was.

However, we are just pointing out some things. People who have not seen this event, could of think that Zaveck's face got messed up becouse of punches, which is not true. Of course, after the headbut, it was just getting worse and worse.

What world do you live in?

Zavec landed MORE punches and the HARDER punches. (Check compubox)
Berto was throwing combos that looked flashy but 7/10 didnt land or did no damage.

When walking back to corner Berto was slow with his mouth WIDE open and gasping for air.

During Round #4 or #5 already he was hugging/hands down and mouth open and eating clean shots to the face, then he headbutts him and "wins".

Do you honestly think Berto couldve gone 12 rounds? He gassed after 4.

While Zavec had his mouth closed/gloves high/breathing normally and walking back to his corner normal. He even said his gameplan was to take Berto late.

Firstly, i realy doubt that Berto was winning the fight, as you say. You might want to take a look at some of the punch statistics, if you think the opposite.

Secondly, it was Zaveck's plan, to open up in the second half of the fight. He was getting better and better by every round and frankly, he would be ****** if he just started to brawl in the first round already. He was boxing very smart, but unfortunately, maybe it would of ended better, if he did not. Anyway, nobody could see a headbut like this coming, in this fight.

Everyone can have their opinion of course and i respect every single one of them, but it is not fair how some of you guys are trying to look it as if Zaveck had no chance - far from it, he has shown that he can cope with Berto with ease.
