He has already said, that he is not going to make any kind of a scene about it. He is a fair and big hearted fighter, so he will take it as a man, i guess.

However, this is why he would deserve at least another chance, if not a rematch. This fight would of never ended like that, if it was not for a headbut. It was probably accidental, but i can see Zaveck winning this fight, if it would of not happened.

I believe that Zaveck came out of this fight even stronger than he was before, becouse everyone saw, that he could cope with Berto easily. It was his plan to open up in the second half of the fight and frankly, i doubt that Berto would of survive it - it was obvious, that he was tiring out himself very quickly.

yep zavec is not a guy to be searching for excuses. he doesn't even talk about it much on his blog. that's why i'm trying to make a case for him.

Did anyone notice that during Rd #3-4 in the corner Berto walked slowly with his mouth open and was gasping for air? While Zavek was calmy breathing with his mouth closed and walked fast into the center?

Berto was already tired, he couldnt go 12 rounds.

The pictures clearly show Zavec going from having no cuts on his face/eye to it instantly blowing up after the headbutt. I never seen a "punch" cause that much damage so FAST, there cut from a punch was on his eye brow and it was contained, the headbutt is the one that made his eye swell up, you can tell in the 2nd Gif that as soon as his head hit him he cringed in pain.

zavec hasn't even broken a sweat in that ring. prob had 90% energy ready for the 2nd half of the fight.
compubox says zavec was landing pretty easily in the first rounds, even though he had offense in the second plan. it's a contact sport so the butts happen, it's not the first time zavec was butted even. i think they weren't considering that problem during sparring enough. with head gear on these things are unlikely to happen.

I fee bad for Zaveck. He clearly wanted to come out and fight some more, but I'm not gonna criticize his corner when both eyes were looking not-so-great. Not sure what to make of the headbutt business. Not a Berto fan, but he was landing cleanly in a few exchanges, so...I dunno.
