Gary Russel Jr, Fast Hands, But Lacking?

His hand speed is amazing and the skills seem to be there. But I feel do he needs to look for the finish more, I feel he gets to content and relaxed.

His last two opponents were there to be finished, but he was happy to let them see the final bell.

I feel he needs more fire in his belly when it comes to finishing.

I think he would have finished them if he could have. The guys a boxer not a power puncher. They said he has hand problems but what fighter doesn't? Calzaghe and Floyd also are known to have hand problems plus the rest of the boxing community.

Yeah even do he hasn't got that KO power. He could still step his workrate up & let his hands go. And just TKO them with flurrys.

Like the old saying goes ''Speed Kills''

I think he needs to work on sitting down on his punches, the speed will still be there. I'm sure him and his camp think it's great seeing him throw those flashy and fast combos, but he's going to need to work more on putting more into those punches and not just throwing arm punches once he steps up. Just my opinion.

But if not, he might still be a good to great fighter, I mean Sweet Pea wasn't the hardest hitter out there.

He's lacking healthy hands, and one punch power. Also his stamina is questionable considering he's never been in a 12 rounder before. he's an exciting guy to watch though, to bad his power is underwhelming. He's gonna have to find another way to entertain boxing fans.

He needs to step his game up. I wasn't impressed at all tonight.
