Just got a call from @loudibella. Despite horrible weather and tornado warning outside the fights inside in Biloxi are under way.

Not how it works. Russell is not even remotely a KO artist; He's only got a 59% KO ratio against a record of complete tomato cans thus far. Miranda is by no means a great fighter, but sporting a record of 32-3 (also against tomato cans), he is still a step up for Russell.

Which is why I believe Russell will completely dominate and outbox him, but probably won't get the KO.

Are they in a good building so the people are safe inside?

Yep. That's how I see it going as well.

We should get to see if Russell has a good gas tank tonight.

Early results from Biloxi.9-0 German prospect Vartanov losses split. DBE 35lb prospect Ivan Redkach moves to 8-0, 7kos with impressive TKO.

Miranda getting KO'd if anyone cares. Didn't realize Cruz was a southpaw; so is Russell (and Miranda).

Actually pretty interested in the co-feature now.

Good example of when a fighter uses a 'lazy jab' leaving it out there too long and not bringing it back to the chin and getting cracked by the counter overhand, left, in this case...

A big name American fighter going to Europe for less money? Makes sense. Wait, no it makes no sense at all. That's probably why it doesn't happen.

Go to Europe to get hit in the face for less money and have to potentially deal with Ottke-like shenanigans. Yeah makes sense. No wait, it makes literally no sense at all.

Nice KO. I hope Zaveck meets the same fate tonight.

Dirrell and Taylor were contractually obligated to fight there. If they had a choice, they'd have remained at home. Dirrell never had a base, though, and Taylor's base (along with his career) was already dwindling by the time the Super Six began.
