I wish Roy would stay retired. He was too scared of Tarver. He lost all 70% of the respect I had for him in that fight. The first time in his career where he has to prove himself and he cowers.

His pu__y performance ruined his reputation in my eyes. The thing is Tarver isnt nearly as talented as Roy or as fast etc. Roy straight up bitched out if you ask me.

This just in, Jack Dempsey has dug himself up and is making an equally well-advised come back. Seriously, what is Roy thinking? If he has lost the desire to win so much that he hardly contests Tarver, what is he coming back into the ring again for. This is not a Holyfield situation. You can see that Holyfield is desperate to fight but is physically diminished. Roy looks tentative. C'mon Roy, let it go.

I think that roy should have worked his way into title contetion proving to himself that he could beat tarver k=now he needs to go and fight Johnson and serve him up a good whooping. Then come back and after a couple more bouts, beat Tarver.

Roy is not delivering inside the ring, retire before facing another humiliation!

Roy needs to retire for good . . . but if he is genuinely serious about this, he needs to come back against a (limited but) very durable opponent on regular television, and prove he still has the stamina to be a contender because its plain to see that he doesn't.

A perfedct first fight for Roy would be against a young green fighter like...oh...I dont know say Jeff Lacy.

Roy would quit inside of three and after quitting he could never return.
Yikes... I'd hate to see Roy even attempt to get in the ring with Lacy. Lacy wouldn't pull punches, and he'd knock his head right off. He TKO'ed Robin Reid, who hadn't even been DOWN in his career, and he was down five times in that fight (or somewhere around there).
