  • god dammit can we put an end to the term "Young Lion"?

I thought i read a thread here months ago where ppl were calling for a stop to the term "Young Lion"

I don't know why i hate that expression so much. maybe it stems from hearing Pascal being referred to a young lion over and over during the build up to the hopkins fight and he ended being a effin ***** cat.

it's actually "hungry young lion". I hate that saying too. You can be the hungriest young fighter in the world, when you come up against the best, will without the skills doesn't do much for you

Absolutely not. We should scream it to high heaven until that's all we hear concerning great fighters. I much rather hear young lion than old, shot fighter, true story.

It's a bs term put on Ortiz to make him sound like a possible challenge for Floyd. I'm not buying it.
