The fact is, Bert Sugar stated 2 years ago that JMM had a really good chance at beating Mayweather at WW (even though he flipped the script after the fight like many people tend to do). At that point NOBODY knew just how JMM would perform.... NOBODY can say the same in 2011, where JMM is STILL a LW, nearly 40 and last looked like shyt in the WW division.

If Pac has any troubles what so ever vs this LW it will display that Pac still can't handle a defensive counter puncher. Pac will win, but if he looks like shyt, Don't be surprised if Bob won't allow him to fight anyne with this style. We all better prey Pac ends it really really really really really early as anything less exposes Pac's recent in-house losing opposition AND that his technical skills haven't improved since 2008.
Hey a$$hole... he quited against a TOP WELTERWEIGHT at the time...The same guy Floyd ducked cuz "he wanted to prove the boxing fans who the best is" .....so i recommend you to change the subject !!

if marquez decided to trade with Pac he has no chance but to get knocked out. The only way I see Mrquez winning is by countering the *** out of him and finnish him off in the later rounds..

But yet, they need welterweight, 2 years later than Floyd did, why?
Hindsight, I dont even think the weight difference will be that much. Paq will weigh 148 to 150 fight night, JMM will weigh 146 to 148. He has done a more scientific jump in weight this time as compared to the Floyd fight. In his last WW adventure he looked a little soft around the middle, I dont think you will see that this time.

Bushbaby, not all Paq fans dislike JMM, I am a JMM fan, he is an awesome fighter in his own right, he called out the best again and is getting what he wished for again. As far as Paq being able to make weight at 140 or 135, he probably could starve himself and do it. However, the secret of his success for the last few years is NOT CUTTING WEIGHT! Not cutting weight enable a fighter to maintain a better enery level throughout the distance of a fight, it enables them to add muscle and thereby increase punching power, and they are not simply adding water weight in the 24 hours before a fight.

Either way, I think we will see a better version of JMM in this fight than we did in his fight with Floyd, and that is because he learned from the Floyd experience that moving up in weight doesnt just mean gaining weight. (I dont think it would have changed the outcome of the Floyd fight). I hope we see a hell of a fight, and I think we will. I have Paq by round six or seven stoppage.

Marquez is going out of the ring in a body bag with the mexican flag d****d over it after Manny gets done with him. "Roid" Floyd will be next!
