If they met in the middle at 140 or 141 nobody would complain about this fight. It appears that either Pacquiao is either too scared to fight Marquez at a competitive weight or he just doesn't wanna miss his breakfast on the morning of the weigh in. Well, in comparison to the 147lbs they had originally planned, I don't see how they can bring up Manny's catchweights in this fight when Marquez was the one who requested it for the belt. I can see the argument for something like the Margarito fight.

This is what I am saying, they should just say 147 if you dont want to fight then dont. But both are the same size fighting in different division, but hater would not admit that, but they know.

Because they will come at the same weight at fight night. Only difference is Pac is campaigning at 147 and JMM at 135-140. Why would the biggest draw and champ take away his advantage? regardless who it may be. This fight is just to settle things which should have happened 2 years ago. But can you really blame someone who took an oppurtunity to become known and make money by going up and fighting someone like Oscar?

Well, Pac has the speed advantage, he has the power advantage, he has the age advantage. I wonder just how many advantages does he need?
You are right that the fight should have happened two years ago though.

I just don't get how people are still confusing fight night weight with weigh in weight, that's just crazy. That's like saying Donaire who walks around at about 140 can fight at lww or Hatton walking around at about 175-180 could have fought at lhw.

130 is Marquez's optimum weight, 135 is his absolute limit he can go and it shows. Pac fights at 145 now, its so obvious they are not the same size now. How is that so hard to see?
