These two are a little more in each other's leagues right now! I think this would be an awesome fight that I would love to see.

Let's assume that both DLH and Mayorga show-up fit and motivated.

In this scenario, DLH kicks his ass using much superior skills, speed and smarts. Oscar does not "get caught" like Forrest, because he's not gonna' sit on the ropes or fight off the ropes.

As much as I don't like Oscar, I can't find a way for him to lose, unless he shows-up looking like the fudge-factory he was for Sturm.

If DLH knocks Mayorga out, Trinidad's win means nothing and is cheapened...it already is pretty weak, because Mayorga was blown up.

              hmm

People always say Mayorga is unskilled and simple to beat.

Then they get in the ring with him.

That hate makes you say some dumb ****, first Tito was the first to KTFO Mayo, Second wasn't Tito also a blown up middle? And third why DLH keeps fighting Tito's left overs?

If there is any fight DLH should take is against Winky at 154, then he can say that he beat the guy that beat Mosley and Tito.

Mayorga next for Oscar? Oscar De La Hoya apparently has settled on Ricardo Mayorga as his next opponent, according to published reports.

De La Hoya, who earlier had revealed plans to fight May 6 and Sept. 16 of next year, had discussed a rematch with Fernando Vargas. But he decided Mayorga would make the best show.

"He's so aggressive and crazy," De La Hoya said, "it would be a big motivation to me to try to beat him."
Lol, DLH would box circles around him. Unless Oscar gets caught, this one will be a shut out.
P.S. Love that badass kitty in your avatar borikua!

Mayorga will be a new version of Gatti for Oscar.

Oscar was coming out of a lose to Mosley and he needed a win against sumone respectabvle but less talented so he fought Gatti.

Same here Oscar takes on a tough but beateble opponent and sets up a super mega fight against Wright or Tito in sept.
