Sturm wasn't his usual self and dont forget how old Sturm is. I had the fight +1 round for Sturm but I could see a draw.

he dont deserve nothing. All the UK bums have been barking too loud in recent times, I guess the summer break will do that, cant wait until tomorrow we get to see the new UK season, once Sergio KO's that loudmouth bum Barker we will seew ho the next UK bum to call him out

Go watch yesterday's Ringside to see all these dudes talking crap. Half of them introduced themselves as "former undefeated" lol, no duh everyone is former undefeated.

UK only good fighters are Amir Khan/Froch and 100 places lower is Fury.
Im just saying if Sergio isn't goign to go to 168, nor fight any of the young, dangerous MW's, then the second best options (a pretty big dip in class) are sturm and macklin. I don't know - I thought Sturm got beat in that fight, it was close, but Macklin deserved to win in my eyes.

Basically, all I should have said is this: PIROG, 168, ****, or GTFO! **** Macklin, **** Sturm, **** the rest of the MW division.

I guess another option would be to go to 154, and STAY THERE - clean house and then see if you can get a bigger money fight with Cotto or Margarito. Or maybe Angulo - that would be a nice style matchup.

i actually think sturm won the fight. macklin was obviously the busier guy, but sturm had the more effective punches, but it was deff a close fight with sturm winning by like 1 round imo. i don't think martinez should fight anyone who doesn't have a title at 160, it'd be a waste of time, like he's already doing with barker. macklin did give sturm a run for his money, i suggest he demands a rematch, it'd be good. and about pirog, i think golovkin can beat him, i'd love to see them fight and the winner gets a shot at martinez. hopefully martinez gets himself a tough challenge/high profile fight after october 1st.

problem for serg is the MW landscape is filled with young-uns and potential
pirog @ golovkin are the biggest percieved threats but does he want to go down that road with the lack of financial compensation anyway didn't macklin just sign with dibella so look like it's lining up in those terms
