This is so ******... What if top rank wins the purse bid and wants to stage the fight in the US? surely they wouldn't stage it in Mexico.... Angulo has got to get visa issue resolved if this fight is ever going to happen... I don't know just a though

god, i hope this gets made. this will be the biggest challenge for both guys, and imo, it's such a close match. i can see angulo pressuring vanes to a tko victory, and i can see vanes outboxing angulo like cintron did. hopefully the location isn't a problem. alvarez has some serious work ahead of him, with fighting a hungry gomez this month and then preparing for angulo or vanes if it happens, wow.

I feel for Vanes. This guy has fought his way into contension and is the number 1 contender (I think), his style is fan friendly and he trash talks wit the best but for some reason he cannot for the life of him land a big fight. Hopefully he can land this fght with Angulo for later this year..

HAHAHAHA!!! Alvarez WON'T fight the winner, that you can bet on. The WBC/Suliaman will think of something and/or create a new "Super Duper Emeritus Diamond Platinum" title for Canelo and then go back and RETROACTIVELY declare the winner of Angulo/Vanes the "regular" 154Lb Champ. Canelo and Chavez Jr will first fight each other before facing any TRUE top contender.
