Povetkin has earned the right to take on an easy opponent like Holyfield after the string of murderous punchers he's faced in the last two years.
Povetkin is just staying busy till he takes on the Klitschko brothers early next century.
Povetkin is still working on perfecting his Tyson-esque style.
Povetkin needs a tune up.
Povetkin's left ball dropped off during the Chagaev fight. Fighting Holyfield might return it to him to match the atrophied right one.
Povetkin believes in giving geriatric former greats a chance to shine once more. This fight is taken entirely out of respect for Holyfield.
Take your pick. They're all as valid as each other.

teddy atlas has said soo much about the integrity of the game.
i really think this fight is bad for boxing.its a cowards choice he talks
about behaving like a fighter, maybe thats somthing he cant teach.fight
eddie chambers or chris arreola or a fighter under 40 yrs old. if your scared
say your scared hide behind meaningless wins thats the way to groom a bum
so you can cash him in.

Teddy is biggest hypocrite, if it wasnt his fighter he would be outraged screaming on ESPN how those Euro bums targeting a poor old American HW. and that if Delvin Rodriguez gained 80lb he would be the champ!
but now that he has a fighter he is singing a totally different tune being all happy with making a "world champion" and now going to "Defend" his belt against a "Legend".
Povetkin reminds me of Danny Green.
Is Povetkin going to fight Roy Jones after the Evander fight? So he inherits the legend?
Whats sad is that Povetkin was kind of respected in the boxing community before he signed with Atlas, now he has become a joke, I wonder why.
Now you know why Atlas has no fighter, he is like a virus

Vitali Klitschko however, has.
Busted is when you use a fake alias and give your real address and DOB and have been linked to one of the biggest HGH cases in American history and have been documented HGH user for 20+ years.

Plus when people "Juice" for gains they take 2-3 Steroids at the same time, usually Test + Dbol + 1 more, He said he used because thats what it was, he wasnt even a Boxer, go talk to a doctor. "busted" lol
